Welcome to the Infinite Monkeys Institute
Here at the Infinite Monkeys Institute, we're dedicated to exploring the fascinating intersection of probability, literature, and primate behavior. Our groundbreaking research focuses on the famous infinite monkey theorem, which states that a monkey hitting keys at random on a typewriter keyboard for an infinite amount of time will almost surely type any given text, such as the complete works of William Shakespeare.
Latest Typewriter Output:
As you can see, our simulated monkeys are making remarkable progress! While not perfect, this output shows surprising similarities to Shakespeare's famous "To be, or not to be" soliloquy from Hamlet.
Current Research Projects:
- Typewriter Optimization for Primate Use
- The Impact of Banana Incentives on Typing Speed
- Calculating the Probability of Randomly Typing Shakespeare
Upcoming Events:
- Annual Infinite Monkey Symposium - July 15-17, 2023
- Inter-Species Typing Speed Contest - August 5, 2023
