ACTIVE CONSTRUCT LINKS
MINGEBAG FIELD ARCHIVE
Designation: Unlicensed test subject conscripted for off‑record construct probing.
Profile: Ordinary human, extraordinary tolerance to anomalous stress. Memory loops after each failed escape are intentional.
Role: Traverse constructs, stabilize auxiliary power, and map hostile behaviors for remote observers who never leave the safe side of the screen.
Note: If you feel watched while alone, the experiment is working as intended.
THE GARDENS
Once a public plaza, now an overgrown perimeter that loops on itself. Concrete paths and ornamental walls were repurposed as behavioral funnels, pushing subjects toward the generators.
Exterior grass marks unsafe, unlit ground; paving often hides access corridors and safer approach routes. If you feel like you are walking in circles, you probably are.
THE DARK ROOM
A tiled interior maze built from mismatched chambers and service halls. Originally a storage layer for rejected test assets, it slowly became a structure that tests you instead.
Light barely reaches the corners; sound does. Stalkers navigate here better than you do. Use walls, sight‑lines, and the tiny gaps between their patrol routes.
THE WORKS
Industrial sprawl of maintenance sheds, loading yards, and forgotten machine rooms. Generators here are wired into deeper systems you are not cleared to know about.
Barrels and equipment can slow you down as easily as they block a charging stalker. Every shortcut through the yards is also a killing floor.
THE AZTEC
Overgrown courtyards and stepped stone temples buried in artificial night. Grey brick sanctuaries sit above flooded grass where the rain never stops.
Lightning occasionally tears the sky open, bleaching the construct for a heartbeat. If you see a stalker frozen in that flash, move before the dark returns.
STALKER
Behavior: Hunts by sound and motion. Calm while you are still, relentless once you commit to a sprint.
Advice: Run only when the path is clear. Breaking line of sight is good; breaking line of hearing is better.
WATCHER
Behavior: Fixed position sensor with an artificial gaze. Its beam does not kill you, it invites everything else to try.
Advice: Treat the red line like a tripwire. Use corners, props, and distance. If it has time to stare, you gave it too much.
THE DARK FIGURE
Behavior: Drifts through walls, drawn to the subject over long sessions. It does not rush. It does not stop.
Advice: You cannot barricade it out. You can only stay ahead of it. When it finally vanishes, the construct is a little emptier—and so are you.
Operational note: field teams report no measurable shortage of mingebag subjects. For every one that breaks, another is queued, tagged, and dropped into the next construct without ceremony.
Individually they are beneath consideration—soft, panicked, and forgettable. Collectively they are an endless drip-feed of cheap data and cheaper entertainment.
Watching them run, fail, and die has become part of the job’s rhythm. They are not colleagues, not assets, not heroes. They are disposable bodies on a conveyor, and the line never stops.
